Dear colleagues,

This is the final announcement for the International Conference on Differential, Difference Equations and their Applications (ICDDEA, in short), which will be held in Patras in July 1 - 5, 2002 and it has been decided by the Scientific Committee to be dedicated to Professor Evangelos K. Ifantis, on the occasion of his sixty – seventh birthday. According to the response to the first and second announcements, we expect about 120 scientists from all over the world.

The city of Patras, with its friendly people, its numerous sightseeing and its diverse surroundings, has much to offer to create a nice and enjoyable atmosphere around the Conference.
